Simba was founded by Simon Tiemtore – a West African Immigrant from Burkina Faso. He came to the U.S. in 1998 to pursue higher education and greater opportunities for himself, his family, and his community. He experienced first hand the many challenges immigrants face on their journey and vowed to one day find better ways of providing financial services to truly meet the needs of immigrants (rather than taking advantage of them & their circumstances).
Supported by a group of passionate individuals, community organizations and partners who all shared his vision, Simba was formed in early 2019. Together with our future customers, we've been developing Simba, a company determined to ensure financial services become a pathway towards making the world a more fruitful place – not only for you and your family, but for the communities that have supported your journey both here in the U.S. and abroad.
